Wouldn't the senior/junior (or playing too many games for a higher league) come into the equation here? If 7 or 8 played the week before last how many more weeks could they step up before only 3 can play for the lower team?

@Dave Bartlam

It all depends then on percentages and consecutive games played.

For a player to be classed as "senior", he must of played in more than 50% of the first team's fixtures and/or three consecutive games. That player will remain "senior" until he has played the three games at the lower level.

It's easy to determine at this point in the season and the Trelawny clubs are actually very good at getting in touch if they have any eligibility questions - so good infact there's not been a single rule breach this season for more than two senior player - in fact, there's been very few player-related charges at all. I'd put that down to Whole Game registrations (although we have had one dual registration and two players play where a notice of approach wasn't sought) and some great pre-game work (queries) by the club's.

The hardest part for m and for the club's is when the higher teams (combo and SWPL) start playing before the Trelawny teams do - player availability is limited, particularly for evening games.

In the situation above, I'll admit that I'd have made the same decision as they did. One thing we have to remember Is that it is certainly not uncommon for players to play for one club in the TL but also play for another club in SWPL/Combo.
