 The Ashes booked their place in the first round proper of the Buildbase F.A.Vase with a convincing 6-0 win over Axminster Town.

  The Ashes were 4 goals up inside 33 minutes.The first from Richard Maddison from a Sam Hughes cross.Sam Hughes was the provider once again with a cross that was turned in by Dave Trott.Goal number 3 was a real class act,a strong run down the left from Maddison who then played it inside to Henry Wilson who then played a short ball to Hughes who then played Wilson in to score.Hughes got himself on the score sheet with number 4 on 33 minutes when he was played in by Lewis Russell.

 After a slow start to the second half the Ashes got back into their stride with 2 goals in 3 minutes.The first was scored by Dave Barker after he was set-up by Maddison on 52 minutes.The final goal came on 55 minutes when the ball was handled in the area and Trott made no mistake from the penalty spot.
