The result was never in doubt with the Ashes rushing into a 2-0 lead inside the first 10 minutes.

On 7 minutes a ball from the left went across the face of the home goal for Dave Barker to turn the ball back to Sam Hughes to score from close range.

It was 2-0 after just 10 minutes when from a Callum Martindale corner on the right the unmarked Lewis Russell sloted home at the far post.

Two more great chances fell to the Ashes in the first half to increase their lead, the first to Dave Trott whose

free-kick from outside the area hit a defender and then up onto the bar and away to safety. The second fell to Callum O'Brien who shot wide from close range after another Ashes corner.

After just 2 minutes of the second half O'Brien did get on the score sheet.Again from another Ashes corner, this time taken short when the ball fell to him in the area he forced the ball home.

Millbrook pulled a goal back from Ryan Knight on 65 minutes and then had their best spell of the game for the next 10 minutes.

The Ashes then took command of the game again and O'Brien up in the Millbrok area got the ball with his back to goal, turned and fired home to make 4-1.
