Roger Caddy ( Nanpean Rovers ).

Just had a message that Roger Caddy has passed away.

Roger played for Nanpean Rovers in the mid to late sixties, hard tackling full back and could kick the heavy leather ball from one end of Victoria Bottoms to the other.

Played Cricket also for St.Austell, again he could throw from the outfield as fast and accurate as anyone in the County.

Enjoyed his pint and cards at 'The Grenville'  and many many other watering holes, a real character, will be sadly missed but always remembered.

Lived most of his life in Bodmin which others may like to expand on.

RIP.
