Cornwall's Jon Walters
Game started fairly even and Frogpool went 1 up through Will Harding being slipped through by Dave Leach on the counter with a lovely finish. Falmouth then had 15-20 minutes where they had a lot of the play and rightfully got an equaliser, they could have gone up by more if it wasn't for fantastic goalkeeping by Callum Davis. Then half time came with what was a tough grinded out half for the Frogs which they did very well to not concede a goal. Second half came and Frogpool come out absolutely storming with plenty of chances to put away. Frogpool went 2-1 up from The town keeper and defender coming together just outside the box going for the same ball leaving an empty net to tuck away in by David leach. Frogpool then go 3-1 up through a lovely run from Leach who then squared it for Aaron Coveney to finish in to the bottom corner. Then its all frogpool with chances coming thick and fast. Now here comes an absolutely obscene moment from Craig Rothwell who finds some space outside the area around 25 yards out to smash the ball in to the top bin and take the net off, 4-1 Frogs. Falmouth then hit back with a shot just outside the box taking an unfortunate deflection off Jordan Jermyn to just squeeze in the bottom corner. Shout out to Dave Leach who had an outstandingly brilliant solo goal dubiously ruled out for offside. (The crowd went wild) A brilliant performance from Frogpool to topple the combination side, full of grit, detemination, and not letting up on the pressure. Not even those tasty brown envelopes could stop the Frogs. Hopefully Fal Town Jack gets what he wants......Although he may be getting another surprise coming his way soon ;). Well officiated by Kevin Knowles MOTM Callum Davis
