Premier Division - starts Tuesday 7th August

Division One West - starts Saturday 18th August

Division One East - starts Friday 10th August

First league match 7th August!!! Ridiculous!!! Does anyone think, as I do, that the football season is far too long? League should start 1st Saturday in September and finish last Saturday in April. Less is more!!!

And what if we have a wet winter like the season we just had?

Starting September and finishing in April would not have been possible!

Problem is FA competitions start early for a few and surely would be unwise to go into them with no game time under your belt!

Cos of the late Easter next year, in Div 1 West after Sat 30th March until 19th April only one league game played. Having only 15 sides in the division has caused this

One league game scheduled. Lots of others will no doubt be played then. Phil H has plenty of scope to re-arranged postponed games on Saturdays during April.

Last season Parkway played their FA Cup tie before they had kicked a SWPL ball in anger....

Well perhaps you should take yourself off to a western League Forum.

very poor from you. the Parkway supporters havent caused any trouble on here all season and have been very humble in what was an easy league win

Parkway are still involved in the SW Peninsula with their next competitive match in the Charity Bowl.

They were very complimentary to Falmouth in both games this season and in the game at Bolitho a number of supporters waited patiently after 'Westy'warm down' to applaud them off the pitch.

There is no Western league forum! Last year this forum almost closed down. A strong percentage of users on this forum are Parkway supporters. Keeping them would help this forum to remain viable. A western league page would be a good idea. Yes I know Plymouth is not in Cornwall but it obviously has strong links with the county. If you didn’t have a few Devonians to moan at, things might get very boring very quickly.
