The quickest rearranged fixture I have ever done, we got to play the match to the forecast!

Well done to both Secretaries for looking ahead at Saturday's weather forecast and coming to a sensible agreement in getting the game playing tonight and therefore concluded  in order to get League fixtures up and running ( if of course it ever stops raining ). And a bonus that Tuesday morning we can run the Semi Final draw knowing the four clubs involved.

A reminder that the Senior Cup Semi Final Draw will be Tuesday morning 10.00am. Plus the Semi Final Draw for the Charity Cup and Junior Cup.

Venues will be announced as soon as possible but not for a few days, clubs have to be contacted and agree to host the various Semi's, which under current conditions will not be easy.

No I have NOT and never will ! What is wrong with broadcasting it on local radio or do the FA know it evens exist ?

I suspect probably more of the footballing fraternity are likely to watch it either live or later via facebook than to bother tuning into local radio!

Cracking game. If Bodmin spent their energy playing instead of moaning and shouting at the ref tbey may have got something out of the game. Karma will bite you in the ass.

come on El Nino, when have Bodmin Town ever played a game without moaning and shouting/swearing at the Ref?

Looks like being a St Austell victory v Torpoint at Blazey on Easter Monday, Last 9 winners been either Bodmin or St Austell, Who was the last side to beat Bodmin in 90 minutes in senior cup? Was it Truro with the same keeper as Torpoint had tonight?

Me thinks you already knew the answer to that one ?!

From my groundhopping blog on Facebook:-

Match: 43 of the 17/18 Season
Friday 9th February
(Switched from Sat 10th Feb)
Cornwall Senior Cup, Quarter Final
At The Mill
Torpoint Athletic                 (0) 3
Bodmin Town.                    (2) 2
Att: 122
Goal Tally: 182
Goal Average per: 4.20

LATE, LATE WINNER PUT TORPOINT IN THE SEMI FINALS!

Torpoint Athletic progressed to the Cornwall Senior Cup, Semi Final for the first time in 16 seasons with a goal from substitute Gary Hird in the 93rd minute, to spark wild celebrations at The Mill.
Bodmin took a 2-0 first half lead from Harry Evans in the 18th minute and Ethan Phillips in the 40th minute when he turned in the area to shoot home.
In the second half which was only a minute old, Ben Waters scored from 15 yards after being put in by half time substitute Gary Hird with a fine cross.
Torpoint equalised on the 66th minute when Darren Hicks free kick on the edge of the area took a slight deflection by the wall to fly past the stationary visiting keeper Simon May.
Then came the winner from Gary Hird in the 93rd minute to put Torpoint Athletic through to the Semi Finals, which will be drawn at the Cornwall County FA HQ this Tuesday morning.
Star Man
Gary Hird for coming on at half time to change the match!

Don't be silly, if that is the case the FA will probably play the final at Penzance ! History has it that the final is always played the furthest away from the participating teams town.

I've heard a rumour they've approached the Isles of Scilly to hold it out there  :c:
