Torpoint go 2-0 up with goals in the 3rd and 12th mins. Pz keeper saves penalty in 6th minute. Pz get caught off-side until 30th minute onward. 52nd min 1-2, 71st 2-2. Extra time and Torpoint score on 117mins on clock but ref plays 5 mins over but no come-back. On balance of play and chances winners deserved it, both sides hit bar, Torpoint also post. WendronOfficial Posted February 3, 2018 Report Share Posted February 3, 2018 Lostwithiel 0 - Wendron 2 Firstly, a huge thank you to Lostwithiel for getting the game played. A seemingly well run club with some great lads. Game was played in great spirits and some good football was on show - a real testament to both sides considering the conditions. Losty started well and forced our keeper into a good save. From then we got our act together and could have had at least 4 but some great goalkeeping kept the scores at 0-0. Wendron did score but the Lostwithiel goalkeeper ruled it out for offside... ? I wasn’t at the correct angle to say if it was or not. Second half we upped it a bit more and after some great build up play down the right, a ball was delivered across the box for McIvor to tap home. Pawley added a second after some good individual play. We had several more good opportunities, Lostwithiel began to see more of the ball but never really threatened the Wendron goal. Great win.
