Parkway v Saltash - OFF

Following discussion between the Football Association, the Peninsula League & Plymouth Parkway it has been agreed to postpone tomorow nights scheduled Throgmorton Cup tie between Parkway & Saltash United.

The pitch can only be regarded as 50/50 and it has been agreed that it is in the best interests of the wider picture for the game to be postponed so that Saturdays FA Vase 3rd Rd proper tie with Hungerford Town has the maximum chance of being played. (That tie was postponed last Saturday).

The new date for the Throgmorton Cup tie is Wednesday 9th January, 7.30pm. The date takes into account the possibility of FA Vase replays and/or re-scheduling, and Boxing Day games on other grounds.

It won't matter which day the game is being played as it will still attract 200-300 fans, maybe more.
