bighairydave
Anybody who is still interested in this course please get in touch as it is next weekend. More details at https://eventspace.thefa.com/cornwallfa/participant/arrangement.aspx?id=217395&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral#regform Please note that there will be the course at Bodmin and at Wendron FC. It will be a fun and informative weekend and hopefully by the end of the weekend you will be qualified as a trainee referee ready to complete your 6 training games before being given the chance to become a Level 7 referee. If you show the correct aptitude for the job you could be refereeing in the Peninsula League Premier Division in 3-4 seasons, and have the chance to referee both FA Vase and FA Cup games (you could also be an assistant referee in these competitions within a season). Anybody fed up with missing game time due to no referee and maybe coming to the end of their playing careers please seriously consider this. The Trelawny League are also giving a £50 refund to any referee who officiates on 10 games with them. You can then get the other £50 back in match fees in 2-3 games. Kit can also be sorted for you if this is a problem at the beginning of your new career.

That can’t happen until later on in the season as the majority of the course is practical outside.

If people are interested in getting onto a course I would encourage them to contact Stuart Kane, Referee Workforce Officer on Stuart.Kane@CornwallFA.com and if there was enough interest I’m sure that something could be arranged earlier.
