somersetspur
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So glad you reminded everyone, that Truro have a League game tomorrow. All people seem to be talking about is the F.A. Cup game v Charlton. Well its gone. The team gave a good account of themselves ,and the fans had a great day. But we lost 3-1 and are OUT. So lets try and get a win tomorrow. At one stage,TCFC were top of the League, defeat tomorrow and we will be 8pts off top spot and in mid-table. Thats the F.A Cup for you. Played really well today. Another good shift in by all. man of the match... Cody Cooke, but could have been any of the 10 outfield players. Not sure about the negativity? I'm just here sipping from the victory cup, which, by the way is HALF FULL
Dave Deacon
Only half full! Sounds like great win and carried on from last Sunday’s good performance.
Piran
As I tweeted earlier in the evening, the first half was the best I have ever seen a Truro City side play. Sublime!
Graham Martin
It was a great win against the top of the table team. If they can keep going with performances like that then a finish in the top 4 could be a real possibility.
Mrgreen
Looking from the outside, the players seem to be playing as a team. Nobody on each other's back if mistakes are made. If the ball is lost or given away, then 3 or 4 go looking to win it back. Back three keeping good shape and communication. Midfield work tirelessly on and off the ball. Front two are a handful and make good runs. It maybe that the wheels do come off, but at this moment in time, credit to EVERYBODY involved. somersetspur
Indeed a fine victory, which keeps us in the mix. Good to see there is no F.A.Cup hangover. The League is our bread and butter. Have heard rumours,Cody Cooke and Tom McHale are attracting interest from higher clubs. Would the Chairman sell them in January,if money was put on the table for them.? Oh by the way, does anyone know who washed the kit.?
Rayvon
Anyone expecting City to be suffering from a FA Cup hangover would have been pleasantly suprised at a wet and windy Malpas Park sorry I meant Treyey Road yesterday afternoon. A 3 goal salvo scored in an early six minute spell (Tyler Harvey Cody Cooke 2, 1 pen) effecetively killed of a team who were currently leading the National League South, they did reply with a goal before half time but a resulute defensive display in the second half ensured the Darts journey back to the M25 would be a fruitless one. Back up to third place in the league with a game in hand this result will certainly leave the doom and gloom mongers having second thoughts. A nice little trip away to Hungerford next weekend, lets just hope we don't get murdered up there. Onwards and upwards

You wouldn't blame either of them if they did challenge themselves higher. Especially Tom, who in my opinion hasn't been treated the best over the years. How much higher do you think they could they go, and get a regular spot?

Soccerkid
Got to disagree here , having only seen Truro once this season nobody in there team is good enough to play in the football league if they were surely they would be by now

However I tend to agree to a certain degree, it would seem a big jump up to league 1 or 2. The one with the best chance would be Tom Mchale, if only because keepers are slightly harder to come by. Cody is a very talented young man, but that alone is rarely enough, I think he lacks that yard of pace that is so difficult to substitute.

somersetspur
When you look at the League positions. Truro 3rd in Conference South, means Division Two is only just over a League away. After Truro's performance at Charlton, not many players looked out of place, against a Division one team. One off games are one thing, got to do it,week in , week out,if you want to make it.
