Yeah a few of the Liskeard 1sts were in the 2nds last year, always going to bring in those players. Torpoint would do well in the SWPL but they already have a team there so they are just plodding along putting in performances week in week out. Be interesting to see the Torpoint vs Saltash and also Tavy as these are the 2 teams with the best records after them. Polperro also had a great run

Just to confirm yes we had a few first teamers 4 in total 3 started 1 on bench . Two coming back from injury and all were part of last years second team it’s called being a club which a lot of people moan about when other clubs bring players in from outside there club . The first team use second team players funny how that not mentioned though . Fair play to torpoint strong squad been together years and always grind out results year in year out .

MattP great comments and attitude towards a fellow club. Nobody wants to call games off, especially when you're in a position to unable to raise a side. You have shown great respect towards Pensilva FC on the forum. Thank you. I'm sure everyone behind the scenes is working very hard to try and keep the club competing at the ECPL level.

Sad day on Saturday turning up to watch the mighty Borough.

Although facing a very good St. Austell team and a valiant first half effort, Borough had nothing, they were constantly arguing, lacked discipline, and who knows what formation they were playing.

They played a straight back four that lacked any desire to go forward or even challenge the St. Austell wingers who were allowed to 'cheat' all game.

The dugout seemed out of ideas from the start, and seemed more interested in arguing with the players than encouraging from the sidelines.

Borough have some good youth players with potential, but if they carry on like this it's going to be a very long season, shipping goals and not much going forward.

Hopefully they manage to turn things around!

Nobody classed as a Borough Legend would entertain coming on here and talking like this.

Sounds more like somebody with an axe to grind.

If it's that bad and your free, offer your services and help out!

Got to agree Andy, I reffed them earlier in the season and although they lost they gave a very good account of themselves against a strong Callington side. At least they fulfil all of their fixtures which as we know is not always easy these days.
