TRUCKER
First friendly for the newly formed Saltash United veterans who have entered the Cornwall Veterans League. Playing against last seasons Devon League champions we struggled to get a grip of the game in the first half, took a while for everyone to get up to match speed and get used to playing together. We were 3-0 down at the break. But second half we found our feet and completely dominated the game, playing some superb football. Nige Pugh and Chris Pethick looking solid at the back, Phil Screech and Mike Dingle providing a real treat down the left. Eddie Shapland and Paul Sidey controlled the midfield in the second half and we put our chances away. A really promising start for the lads! Scorers - Stu Taylor(5), C.Truscott, P.Screech, M.Dingle, P.Sidey

TRUCKER
Hi Joe, we have currently signed 36 players, which is an awful a lot. But until the season begins we cant really gauge who the regulars are going to be. It appears it is going to be a lot of them! So I am slightly reluctant to take anymore on. Having said that if you would like to sign please pm me your address and date of birth and will give you a shout if our numbers are down and you would like a match. Cheers trucks
