Guest Sullivan Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Turned up to the game on saturday and there he was, Porthleven legend George Patterson. Always in the right place and let the game flow. One of the best refs I've seen so far this season. Just wondering if any other well known local players have turned to ref-fing? Does playing a high standard and being a good player give you the potential to be a better ref? And, does this past experience help refs climb the leagues/steps quicker?
Guest Postie Pidge Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 We've had George twice on Sundays this season and he's done well both times! Rappo's not bad as well although I don't think he's done many games recently We've had George twice on Sundays this season and he's done well both times!
