Kernowman Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 Dan Blazey moves up 1 place to 3rd and is closing in on Soccer Follower and Gary. Stig edges up 1 place with Kernowman up 2 and Mike Odgers dropping 2. Common Tater drops to the basement with his 'yellow card' and it looks like 'Whitehot' was not so hot as he thought! Soccer Follower Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 That confirms that my predictions for last Saturday were absolute rubbish!
Mike Odgers Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 I am in the same boat Nigel, This league is totally UNpredictable and at the start of the season I was confident of a 66%success rate(2 from3).Ha Ha.
Kernowman Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 The way things are with predicting, it will be good if you can make 60% Mike!
Common Tater Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Not whingeing, just asking so I can perhaps avoid future cards: what was my yellow for?
Kernowman Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 Just to refer you back to the entries made on 9th November, but namely: " I propose a very simple 'penalty' system for our league namely: A Yellow Card - 7 days without prediction - 3 pts deduction A Red Card - 14 days without prediction - 6 pts deduction Does this seem fair? I think we all need to be 'fair' to each other, and I believe this is a reasonable 'punishment' if predictions are not made. Please feel free to air your views on this guys." Sorry about your points deduction Common Tater - I'm sure you will catch up the postie again!
Common Tater Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Thanks for the explanation. No complaints: rules are rules and just because I didn't notice is no defence. I shall have to make sure I'm near a computer on a more regular basis! Will we be getting the end-of-season results read out on Radio Cornwall one Saturday afternoon?
