Home Waters Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 :clapper: The idea is very good but as you know from another site it doesn't really prove anything. As I have said before, you get the same card for assault on the ref as you do for the keeper handling outside the area. But as we are bottom or just, I suppose I would say that. But i actually believe that anyway.

Guest Peppermint Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 I have to agree with Distant Shores that these tables are open to all sorts of vagaries. Some teams have probably had referees that scatter yellow and even red cards around like confetti but other clubs have had referees that are a little more sensible with the bookings. So unless all clubs had the same officials for an equal amount of games then it is not actually that fair. Having seen a lot of different teams this year and a lot of different officials then it is fairly obvious that this form of a league is not that relevant.
Guest pafc 4 the prem Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 i play in the west division and it is clear to me that refs would rather send someone off for swearing than a bad tackle, not saying one is worse than the other but swearing in frustration isnt gunna break someones leg, if its directed at an official then they deserve to be sent off.
