AJW
Grampound gave themselves a good chance of survival in Division 1 with a solid 2-0 wiin at AFC Bodmin on Tuesday. The team now needs 5 points fron 4 games (against Gerrans, Bodmin again and Gunnislake twice) to keep their Division 1 status. Grampound Reserves confirmed their Division 3 status after beating High Street 4-3 and North Petherwin Reserves losing tonight. It looked like it might be a cricket score with Grampound 3-0 up after 20 minutes and coasting but a spirited High Street came back to 3-3 after some lacklustre home defending. Grampound grabbed the winner within seconds of High Street's equaliser to win the game with the best passing move of the match.
