Guest
Queens Rangers 2-2 St Merryn (H/T 0-0) A pretty dull game came to life in the final 25 minutes and ended with Queens scoring a controversial injury time equaliser. Something of a rarity, three neutral officials - all supplied by the Devon FA for a Duchy League Division 2 game. Who were they? And why? Back to the game, the first half was a bit of a non event with neither side being able to create a proper chance on goal. After 65 minutes, St Merryn took the lead and five minutes later, a dinked lob over the keeper made it 0-2. The home side pulled one back inside two minutes and pushed for an equaliser in their quest for second place. As the game entered injury time, a free kick wasn't properly cleared and the ball was smashed home from close range. All this while the visiting keeper was lying injured on the ground. A fair result in the end but the game won't live long in the memory.

Guest
I don't suppose you know who the officials were? I've seen the referee before somewhere.

Paul Collings
Knock Out Cup semi-final St Dennis 5 - 4 North Petherwin Exciting stuff at Bodieve Park. St Dennis benefited from some defensive frailty with two early goals and had added a third within half hour but further up the park North Petherwin were playing well and pulled one back before half time. Petherwin came out the stronger after the break and deserved to get back level but again they gifted St Dennis a goal. The spirited North Petherwin side once again pulled back level but yet again they let St Dennis back in and it ended 5-4. St Dennis now face St Minver in the final at Burngallow Lane, Sticker on Monday May 1st 6.00 pm Tonight's crowd was only about 50. Good hospitality from the Wadebridge Town club - thank you.
