cornishteddyboy
Is there any rule preventing a Vets side from entering the Cornwall Junior Cup if it is not linked to a club that has sides that play on any other day of the week? I am thinking of sides like Halsetown Vets or Downderry Rovers.
Guest
Or in a similiar situation, the Cornwall Sunday Cup. I remember a few years ago I think it was a team called Victoria Inn played in the Cornwall Junior Cup but were not a league team. I think Chacewater beat them something like 14-0. cat weasel
I suppose as long as they are a affiliated etc it shouldn't be a problem after all the junior cup is a county cup competition not a league based one

John Mead
Historically, vets teams are regarded as Sunday teams so the Sunday Cup should be possible The Junior Cup is open to all qualifying Saturday Clubs but wouldn't necessarily prevent a "friendly" Club from entering if they request and pay for entry with their affiliation before 30th June.
