Royal Par 2 Manstow 2. A mid season friendly between Cornwall's Premier Vets team and the Barcelona of over aged Devon football saw spoils shared in a good tempered yet muddy affair at Par track. All goals came in the first half, Manstow 1-0 before Royal Par rallied to go 2-1 up. A twice taken penalty restored parity (the Manstow player telling Cameron Hague where he would place it and he still dived the other way). No goals second half but perhaps that's the way it should be, an honourable draw between Cornwall and Devon. Worth noting that Manstow came all the way from Kingsbridge on a wet miserable Sunday with a full team and no complaints, Royal Par despite being bottom of the league had 15 players.
