Fish
Mike, is there a deadline for the following; new team entered into Div 4 Trelawny league? players to register for a club for this season, ( a few of my 15 year olds turn 16 in next month or two and keen to play adult football)
Soccer Follower
Fish, A new team wishing to enter into the Trelawny League would be voted upon by the Trelawny League at its AGM (usually June). If you wish to take it further, best to speak with the League Secretary David James. No registrations or transfers of players after the 31st March
Bobjfh
Fish, further to what Soccer Follower has said, just a couple of things: The league will, no doubt, be wary over entering any new teams due to issues over the last couple of seasons with teams folding etc. If you are looking to enter a new team you need to look at sustainability (pitch / players etc and that any new team doesn't mean another teams demise). Speak to League Sec and he will guide you as it's a club vote and you need to consider what other local clubs to you will say. On registration - Whilst deadline is 31 March, am fairly certain you can register players 'early' so they can play as soon as they become 16 (for example a lad's birthday is 1 April you can register him by 31 March and he can play once 16) Again League Reg Sec will give you the definitive answer - but he is very helpful. Mike Odgers
Regarding application deadline to the SWPL there is a detailed procedure of what is to be done.(by Tuesday 31st.January) on its website It states that two clubs from the SWPL East Div 1 and two from the West Div1 will be relegated as long as there are approved applicants from 6 feeder leagues.
