Damo No 2 Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 Tough game for us on Sunday, lost 6 - 1 last time we played them which was a flattering result for Truro in all honesty. It was being built up as a big game amongst some of us, due to the return of our ex striker Rich Ward but, alas, family commitments have forced him out of the game. Truro have only conceded something like 8 or 9 goals so far this season, hopefully that will be a significantly higher number come Sunday afternoon! Crowntown .v. Tremough - Away win. Oxford .v. Truro GWRSA - Home win. T.M.S .v. Camborne Park - Draw. Booters .v. M-pad - Away win. Gloweth .v. Shortlanesend - Home win. Halsetown .v. Calenick - Away win. Truro .v. Star - Away win. Good luck to all teams on Sunday.
stevethedoor Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Some interesting predictions from you there Damo, yeah its gonna be a really tough game on sunday especially that we are missing our ever youthfull midfield dynamo for the game , looks like you might have to step into my shoes and do your 'Viera' impression once more . We didnt play well against them last time but still had our chances and hopefully the win and clean sheet last week will give us the confidence to move forward my predictions Crowntown v Tremough (away) Oxford v GWRSA (Home) TMS v Camborne (Home) Booters v M/Pad (home) Gloweth v Shortlanesend (Home) Halstown v Calenick (Home) Truro v Star (Away)
Dave James Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 :P .I think Oxford may well take the backlash from GWRSA losing their Cup match v M/Pad last week . don`t think Guy will allow another poor team performance hope your keeper is fit :yahoo:
Damo No 2 Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 You say that but we are now looking to push on ourselves. Our first clean sheet of the season last week was more than welcome and the team is settling down a bit now. We have all realised that our success from last season is very much in the past and we are not in this league to just make up the numbers. Midfield dynamo!?! Think you need greasing mate!
Dave James Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 Result OXFORD 2 - 2 GWRSA Chances galore missed that could have earned you victory . BOOTERS 1 -1 M/PAD BAD TEMPERED GAME WITH A FEW BOOKINGS AND 2 SENT OFF RIGHT AT THE END
