Guest ViewFromHere Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 How exactly does this rule work then? If a club in the same league puts in 7 days notice of approach for a player, which the player knows about, when can he officially start talking to the club/sign for the club? Sorry for such a silly question, just curious thats all. Does the 7 days have to expire first before he/she can talk to the other club? Any help will be much appreciated
John Mead Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 You are supposed to wait seven days before speaking to the player: the rule is there to give the player's club time to talk to him if they wish to try to keep him and also time to start finding a replacement if the player does leave. Incidentally, it doesn't matter which League or Leagues the two Clubs are in, the F.A. Rule applies to approaching any player at any Club in any League.
Guest meatloaf Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 so tell me how a player can play one week ecpl and then the following week duchy? can he be signed for two different clubs if they are junior and senior leagues? can he play for two different clubs if they are in senior leagues and change from week to week to suit himself without any 7 day approach? ps im confused!!!!!!!! <_<
King Kenny 7 Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Meatloaf, If a player is signed for a Junior club he can also sign for a Senior Club Which allows him to play 5 games for the Senior club before he becomes a senior player, So he could play 4 times for the senior club and carry on all season playing for the junior club But if he plays the 5th game for the senior club he must get reinstated to become a junior player again (a cost of £6.00 for this to happen) then he could play anouther 4 games for the senoirs whilst still playing for the Junior side. You can only be reinstated twice in anyone season. Hope this helps.
