Darin Morse Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Foxhole 1 Millbrook 5 Saturday 3rd November 2007 This was a game of two halves and Foxhole were rubbish in both of them. Millbrook raced into a three goal lead inside 24 minutes: on 17, Wyatt's corner was headed home by Casey at the far post, within seconds, Lucassi latched on to Casey's pass to fire past stand-in keeper Hill at the second attempt before Hendy raced clear to finish easily. It could have been worse as Mason fired just over and Casey somehow missed a free header from Graddon's free kick. Although Rowe shot wide and Warne's corner cried out for the merest of touches, there was never any danger of an unlikely fightback; instead, Lucassi's half volley made it 4-0 on 56. Substitute Nicholls did manage a consolation from close range after 68 minutes but Millbrook continued to threaten and completed the scoring five minutes from time through Ridge. Foxhole (3-5-2): Scott Hill 6; Jamie Bullock 6, David Grose 5, Jeff Dillon 5; Richard Fairclough 5, Jason Warne 5, Colin Morris 5 (sub. Liam Nicholls 6), Kyle Friendship 5, Steve Panter 5; Adam Holland 5, Mark Rowe 5. Millbrook (4-4-2): James Gould; John Wyatt, Chris Graddon, Chris Yeatman, Chris Lock; Rhys Small (sub. Stephen Matthews), Adam Casey, Dan McAdam, Dennis Mason; Ryan Lucassi (sub. Alex Ridge), Tony Hendy (sub. Kandas Dougouno).
Guest Postie Pidge Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Did Billy Davies not fancy 'doing a Philpy' and donning the gloves in a rare appearance?
