I have to say I have played in a few local derbys and they are the best games to play in everyone gives an extra 20% and the result means so much more roll on the next derby match :clapper:

Have to agree with Kev here Breas. Alex complained saying it was unfair and was worried about Port loading up in the am kick off. It was more like he had players whom could not get there for the kick off time.

I cannot see why the fixture isnt resurrected anyway. It can be done Penryn now play Falmouth where they used to play Perranwell....

helston have been playing ludgvan last few seasons on boxing day...strange 1! i had one boxing day match down port for the reserves...great occasion. even kev was nice to me :P

Has to be Illogan v's Holmans for me.

So many local lads who have all played for 1 side or another or even both it adds a real spice.We have met 7 times in the league so far with 6 draws league standing never has any bearing on what the result could be.

Boxing day clash is at Holmans this year, always a good sesh after. More clubs should do it.

i know im not talking combo here but if you really like your derbys try st day versus carharrack . they use to play once a year for a trophy but guess what someone nicked it . no need to turn up if you didnt like the physical side of the game but still good fun .
