Guest
St Ives Town 0-3 Redruth United. St Ives missed a first half penalty and Redruth's pressure finally paid off in the 56th minute and further goals followed in the 65th and 70th minutes to seal victory,

Carharrack Loyal
FT Carharrack 4 Mullion 1 A hard fought 3 points for Carharrack on a sunny summer evening down at Ting Tang. Carharrack opened the score line after 25 minutes when Bradley Leivers scored from a direct free kick. Mullion replied after a free kick rebounded off the wall then sliced by Mullion forward which then lobbed the home keeper. Just before the interval Carharrack replied by scoring inside the box after the Mullion defence failed to clear the ball through Adam Stephens. Going into the second half Carharrack pushed forward getting that all important third goal by Ryan Stephens. With 10 to go Glen Patterson pushed forward and smashed a header from a cross into the box to take victory. Onto Ludgvan on the weekend.
a little bit of a dinho
Perranwell 2 - 4 Holman SC Tough place to play at the well, outstanding strike from Jack Mankee from about 35yards on a postage stamp in the top right corner at the tree end to open proceedings. Shane Richards rolling the years back with a sort of half overhead volley to make it 2. Perranwell pulled one back before Jamie Cooper's scuffed daisy cutter from 8 yards baffled the defenders who were expecting a much cleaner strike. We go in 1-3 at half time. Second half we were doing more defending, basically repelling the long balls up to Dom Pullen. Kyle Marks made it 1-4 with a great solo run and finish which was almost saved but there was enough power on the shot to take it over the line. Perranwell pulled one back with about 15-20mins left. Thanks for the post match hot dogs and our apologies for the handful of orange peels we left on the sidelines at half time

stevieb
11 hours ago, Keith B said: Thanks for the report stevieb - part of me would like to have been there but - seeing the result, I'm glad I wasn't. I'm wondering, were the Tinners at full strength ? Best wishes for the season anyway. Neil Curnow , played but it was a much changed side from last season , no Andrew Curnow , they also will miss young Ash up front , frustrating night for Neil and Steve , but Hayle were faster up front and took their goals well, credit to the St, Just lads they were in the bar when I left lots would have disappeared after a heavy defeat , but we still have to travel to St. Just and face a stiff game later in the season .
