Penzance 1-3 RNAS Culdrose Penzance played 3-5-2 system Game starts with a few nigglly tackles but settles down. Pz have to make a substitution on 5 mins plus our keeper is carrying an injury. 6mins 0-1 Culdrose player dribbles ball along 18yd line, turns and volleys a sreamer that no one could stop. 27mins 0-2. Shot on goal rebounds of Pz keeper's chest and Culdrose player quickest to react and pokes it in. H-T 66mins 1-2. Penzance player down in box. Converted penalty 75mins 1-3. Ball floated over, Culdrose player takes it out of air, volleys into net. Clever goal. Full time Jack Liddicott (PZ) booked-tackle Jimmy Liddicott (PZ) booked-dissent 3 Culdrose players booked-2 for dissent, 1 for bad foul. Crowd 37, of which many cleared off before the end to watch football in the clubhouse. Pz could not get the ball through Culdrose defence and when we did the Culdrose keeper made 3 or 4 brilliant point blank saves. Penzance man of match - Grenners Corner count PZ 11 - 4 Culdrose.
