What's wrong with these players do they not have any loyalty anymore? Just finish a season and then think 'well I'll try somewhere new next season', easy for players to be selfish and move on leaving a trail of filling the holes for the good club men and ladies of Cornwall, sad times.

Sijames we all know that isn't the way anymore and it's something that gets discussed every season. We just have to accept that it's part of football today. We are lucky at Wendron that we have very loyal players, of course some leave. We also have new players joining. We don't complain about them being disloyal to other teams, maybe they just haven't found the right club?

In order for teams and players to progress they need to bring in better players or move to better teams. Perhaps Shackley wants to play at a higher standard and the Hitchens have moved to TMS to help progress them.

Thats me being positive anyway.

I agree with you here. Shacks is a good player who probably just wants a taste of senior football. You can't take that away from the guy!

Its nothing to do with loyalty most of the time. It's to do with playing at a good club where you fit in and get on with everyone whilst winning. That's what everyone wants

Not too sure why loyalty is being brought up for me as I have been at Chacewater for the passed 4-5 seasons (check the website if anyone wants clarification). I have played senior a few times sometimes has been at the start of the season seen as the season starts earlier than the trelawny league or I have played for someone when I didn't have a game for Chacewater. This summer hasn't been an easy one for me personally I've had a lot of things going on and hadn't actually thought about who I was going to play for this season. At the end of last season I made the decision not to play for Chacewater this season I won't go into those details as they are my own reasons and there isn't any hard feelings towards the club and I'd like to think it is the same the other way after 4-5 excellent years with them.

At the end of the day this isn't professional football we don't get paid to play I just want to enjoy my football while I can still play (if you call it that) so it's up to me where I choose to play and want to play. Rumours will fly about as they do for anyone but that's why they're called rumours.

And regardless of where I play I'll still be checking the green army's results and cheering them on and hope they do well this season.
