jolzy10
Grampound 1st/2nds - 2 St Erme -3 Another good performance from St Erme tonight in yet another tough game, dominant 1st half with St Erme being far more clinical in front of goal than the hosts racing into a 3-0 half time lead. 2nd half Grampound started to dominate a little more but were helped by fresh legs due to the volume of sub's, St Erme tired in the last 20 mins but battled well until the final whistle. Thank you to Grampound for hosting and good luck for the season. St Erme goals scored by Andy Mitchell, Terry Campbell and Elliott Jolly
AJW
Very well done to St Erme who finished their first half chances really well. It looked as if Grampound were still playing last weekend's games as they went 3-0 down. The second half was a bit better for Grampound as they pulled it back to 3-2 and hit the bar but did not quite do enough to get the equaliser. Grampound's manager was really disappointed with the general performance (he has been described as "absolutely livid" elsewhere) but is pleased that this performance is out of the way and that things can now be put right. Some potentially stiffer pre-season games are coming up and better performances will be expected. Grampound's goals tonight both came from Ryan Morcom. Thanks to St Erme for the fixture and good luck for the season.
