My sister lives in Saltash and I have friends who follow them as well as exiled mariners at St. Blazey, St. Austell and Penryn. We come down to Cornwall(Perranporth every Sept) on holiday and always try and call in at a new club, but always pop in to Newquay to see my old drinking buddy Brian Biggin. Last season I called in at a couple of the smaller clubs which I like to do, we went to Redruth United, where we met Darren, a nice chap and we have kept a eye on the scores through this website and the clubs own and also we visited Sticker AFC which i fould a excellent venue for lower football and they did a lovely programme. This September I am hoping that Threemilestone are at home on one of the Saturdays when we are down in your area and then I may just pick a match from some where off this site at the last minute. I also organise the Central Midlands Football League Football Bonanza each season and have been on all of Phil Hiscox's Devon and SWPL ones and am delighted that in 2010 it is being held in Cornwall at Easter, so I will be coming down for that as well..any one know a good cheap hotel for that weekend? from thursday to sunday? Been reading this site for about 2 seasons now but felt must join now, as I have been to plenty of the Cornish clubs and always got a good welcome and done a few programme swops with them. I have been a fan for about 18 years. My dad started to take me to matches when i was about 4 and have been hooked ever since. (My dad has been a City supporter for 46/47 years) My dad used to manage Redruth Town back in the 70's. He has been a ref, manager and goalkeeper. He even played for Corby Town as a gk when he lived in Northampton (a bit before my time though.) I used to support Man U, but i wanted to focus more on my local team. Thats about it really.
