Guest
Taken from the SWPL website We were very sad to hear today that Brian Brokenshire, club stalwart and long time treasurer of St Blazey AFC, through thick and thin, passed away suddenly yesterday (Sunday 12th June). The Officers & Board of the league offer its heartfelt condolences to Brian’s family, friends and members of St Blazey AFC. Funeral / Memorial arrangements to be announced in due course. Dave Deacon
Yes have to agree with all the above sentiments. Brian always me very welcome when visiting Blaise Park on behalf of Radio Cornwall in those halcyon days not so long ago. Condolences to his family and close friends. RAPPO
Sincere condolences to Brian's family. Known him since I was 18 working for the brewery. Always a bacon sandwich and half a shandy waiting from Brian and Dave at tha club. Usually about half an hour behind by the time we left chatting about local football!! Blazey through and through. Another great loss to the Cornish football family. RIP Brian

Vinny Jones
This is really the saddest news , all off Cornish football that includes the CCFA should show respect to a man who had heart and soul in his great club , he always found time to chat bye a beer and crack a joke , big Liverpool supporter in more than one way so he will never ever walk alone , but missed at his great club for sure , as for his family what can I say but how up set the news made me I cant imagine how your all feeling ,,,,,,,, in rugby a man like Brian would bring the county to a stand still , its time for footballers and clubs to put words into action and give the great football stall worth a good send off , RIP Brian Brokenshire Mr St BLAZEY
