Summer Tournaments @ St Day AFC

Recommended Posts

St Day host their annual 5 aside and Youth 7 aside competition in honour of the dedication and commitment of Sheldon Mitchell & the still serving Dave Searle (Currently 52 years) respectively and hopefully another cracking competition is in store.

This year it has been set to be held on the Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th August at Vogue Park in St Day. The reason we cannot use a date in July as we previously published is due to the club hosting cricket at home.

St Day AFC Summer Tournaments 2016

Sat 6th August 2016 (U7s – U12s)

Sun 7th August 2016 (U13s & U14s + 2 Adult Pitches)

Vogue Park, Home of St Day AFC

Refreshments and food will be available at the ground and can we ask all players to wear either trainers or moulded boots unless the weather is wet and therefore normal studs may be worn.

Entry is £20 per team and should be either cash or a cheque (Made payable to St Day AFC or St Day Youth AFC) sent to a Mr Adrian Walters (Ashcroft, 80 Mount Ambrose, Redruth, TR15 1QR) or email me with your teams details and form to gain your place. Forms and all information can be found at the following

Youth Forms, entered Teams and Information: http://www.stdayafc.co.uk/youth-dave-searle-cup/

Adult Forms & Information: http://www.stdayafc.co.uk/adult-sheldon-mitchell/

The club will look to accept only 6 teams per age group in the youth section and up to 20 teams in the adult section. Both age groups will run slightly differently, but all is explained in the information provided at the links above. Parking on the day will be close by in a local field all sign posted and easy access with Marshals helping you along.

Please spread the word and get your clubs to enter teams, its always a great day with lots of fun. Any further questions feel free to contact myself or Adrian, all details on the club website.

Kindest Regards

Cheers

Mark
