B Licence Coach - Free to a good home

Recommended Posts

As per earlier thread I have parted company with Saltash Utd after 2 good seasons there.

Due to ever increasing work and family commitments running a Team and being at the helm is too much right now. However, I am still keen to be actively involved somewhere next season.

So if your Club needs a Coach or Assistant for next season that will help with training, warm ups before game and general advice then PM me on here with the details.

Many thanks.

Great 1st half of the season, but the 2nd half of the season was not so good. Excellent 2-1 win at Torpoint as well. Mark, any particular reason why things tailed off, injuries maybe???

1st 12 games of the season were fantastic and what I expected with the squad I assembled during the closed season 12 months ago. Started 1 loss to Edgcumbe by 1 goal, a draw with 10 men for 60 minutes away out Berey followed by 10 straight wins with 6 clean sheets. Then the winter from hell put a stop to our momentum and the form slipped. We played 3 League games and 1 Cup match in 3 months. Coming out the other side of that lay off we had a combination of injuries, suspensions and a constant drain from the 1st Team squad who would regularly take 2 sometimes 3 of my better players - admittedly one of the main purposes of a 2nd Team. Nevertheless, when you go to places with 12 or 13 instead of 15/16 it impacts on the end result. We didn't lost to Torpoint once and they won the league by a country mile so we knew we were good enough to challenge last season if it wasn't for these other influences that were outside our control. Best of luck to Steve next season and hopefully he'll push on from where I've left them x

Must have been particularly galling with the 1st team not being as high up in the league as in previous seasons. I'm sure the offers will come in for next season with a coaching qualification at that level. Good luck and thanks for a clear and concise answer.
