David Bray
Cornwall FA and other counties are bound by the rules and regulations relating to players under 16 years of age involving children not registered at Football League Club's Centre's of Excellence. A One And A Six
It wasnt like that in my day! I was a mere pup at 15 when i made my debut for Illogan all those years ago! Well, wasnt that long ago, im only 21 now!!! Its a tricky rule, because some under sixteen's are mature enough (both mentally and pyschically) to play mens footy (like i was) and they want to play but they're still classed as children and therefor have to be protected by rules and regulations that prevent them from harm. Probably best to leave things as they stand however frustrating it may be for those keen youngsters.
