Weeman
Hayle vintage brew 6-1 St Agnes Hayle goals Rappo 4 Polo 1 John Mc Cullum 1 A very tight game in the first half with us playing against a strong wind having to keep the ball on the floor to keep possesion against a good St Agnes side putting us under pressure taking advantage of the wind in there backs but a good defensive display limited them to a couple of chances taking one of them to go in the lead with the strong wind it was difficult to bring our forwards into the game but we pulled one back through Polo Mathews to go in at the break 1-1. The second half could not have started any better for us with John McCullum putting us ahead with a good goal, we had the wind behind us now and kept the ball on the floor playing some good stuff before Rappo had his magic FIVE MINUTES scoring 3 goals in five minutes it has to be said with some help from Polo his unselfish strike partner and his fourth goal straight out of paradise an inch perfect pass from yours truly (had to say that) took it in his stride and placed it in the net, but it was a good performance from our whole team old legs still going strong and playing good football in the process, St Agnes tried hard to get back in the game ref giving them a penalty but it was hit over the bar, game played in good spirit good luck St Agnes for rest of season. :drink:

Captain Haddock
Good competitive game the score of which reflected some fine finishing from the main man. My pen miss hopefully wouldn't have made any difference - apart from sparing my embarrasment. Score at H/T was 1-0 and our goal came after Hayle's fourth. Looking forward to the return game.
