Woodmanaldo Posted October 27, 2007 Report Share Posted October 27, 2007 Duchy 2: Grampound 1 (Glyn Ford) St Columb Minor 2 Despite missing 6 regulars Grampound took a first half lead through Glyn Ford but wasted a host of chances as the game could of been out of sight by half time. Matt Fletcher playing upfront due to having so many missing missed more chances on his own than the St Columb Minor team had in the whole game! St Columb Minor netted 2 poor goals in the second half when crosses were allowed into the box far too easily from a Grampound viewpoint. Duchy Reserve team cup: St Teath Reserves 3 Grampound Reserves 4 (Tim Topham 2 both pens, Nick Thompson, Ryan Orchard) A good win for Grampound's reserves who were missing a couple of players to the first team including star defender Woodman - a good game so I hear. Topham has now netted 6 goals from centre back this season, 5 of which have been penalties! Grampound now meet Pelynt in the quarter finals.
