David Bray
News today that Berks&Bucks Under 18's have withdrawn from the competition with immediate effect. This makes Group 'B' of the Competition a bit of a farce. Oxfordshire having played Berks & Bucks twice will i assume have their two victories expunged. Wiltshire still to play any of their fixtures will now contest the Group with home and away fixtures against Oxfordshire on or before the 16th April. With the Counties contesting both Groups A and B now down to 6 in total, should another County opt out then the Competition would face an uncertain future. David Bray
Latest info gathered from the Competition Web Site. Group 'B' now down to a two county competition. Berks & Bucks record expunged. Oxfordshire v Wiltshire scheduled for Wednesday 6th April. Wiltshire v Oxfordshire scheduled for Wednesday 20th April. Overall winners will travel to play the group 'A' winners, The Under 16 Competition looks just as shambolic with three of six participants looking no where near completing their required five fixtures. ( See page 71 of yesterdays Indy. ). Unless of course fixtures are conceded and walkovers given.
