stevethedoor Posted October 7, 2007 Report Share Posted October 7, 2007 Tremough 7 Oxford Inn 1 (h/t 2-1) A bloody hard game against a very good and slick Tremough team we battled well in the first half and going in at 2-1 thought we could nick it but a quick third just after half time somewhat against the run of play really hurt us meaning we had to press forward leaving space for them to counter attack into and they played some good football to take advantage. 7-1 a little flattering to them but they are the best team that we have played this season. Some good football played by tremough which had us chasing shadows at times but I think any one of their players will tell you we battled hard and to the end and as Steve said 7 goals was flattering to them. Some very high scoring games today! Regent .v. Halsetown looks like it was a belter! Anyone know any other results? Sorry! Just realised that all the results are on this thread!
