hammers
Hey Pidge, What happened to Town last Night in the Charity cup at Launceston, Did they not turn up? did they not have a full first team out? Or was it the second team playing, because on current form Falmouth should never have lost that game, Or was it that Launceston were by far the better team ? If it was the full first team playing I am sure steve Massey would not be a happy man on that display. Hammers :c:
Guest john
yeah what a shock surely falmouth had their reserve team in? Or do falmouth not take the charity cup seriously?
Guest Peppermint
John - if you read the postings on the main discussion board entitled Charity Cup Shocker you will see that the Falmouth Town line up was a far cry from the Reserves. This is not fair on Launceston who obviously and correctly considers it an excellent result.
Spider
John / Hammers You're obviously mistaking Launceston for an average side??
Guest Postie Pidge
It was a case of Launceston being very good and Falmouth being very poor
hammers
Spider, no I do not take Lauceston as being an average side far from it ,they have always been a very good side, what I really ment was ,it seems that Launceston were up for it & played by far the better Football & falmouth did not. Hammers :c:
Kernowman
Over the years, Launceston have always got the better of Falmouth in Cup competitions, and it looks like, once again, this appears to be true. Whatever the reason, it is a disappointment :(
Mike Odgers
Reading "News and Views" on Falmouth Town Web site -I would say it was an unacceptable performance considering it was exactly the same lineup as at Mousehole.. Will be expecting an immediate response on Saturday v Ivybridge Town.
