Guest crosser
need to get rid of drogba and owen definately, and either risse or given, can only make three swaps so going to do some thinking over next week or so and pray that given gets back in the newcastle squad
Coopsie
Keep Drogba at all costs. I've also got him in my team and I just know that he's going to be a "point's machine" when he comes back. He's going to be chomping at the bit for goals and will be a real handfull for defenses in all competitions.
Guest crosser
nah mate he's still injured at the moment, don't think he's going to be happy with jose going and then you have the african nations cup in january so he will probably get replaced
Richard Chown
Yeah I forgot about the Africans Cup. Dyer is going to get changed in my transfer window.

Coopsie
Absolutely spot on about Ashton crosser mate. When I first selected him I thought it was a typing error. Absolute bargain.
Gillsy
Yep Ashton defo staying for me, Berbatov defo going just not sure about Kanu he seems to be doing ok for me so he might have to stay for a while
Coopsie
Berba will come good mate. He'd only got 1 goal at this stage last season aswell and people wondered what we'd spent £10million on. You have to remember that it's unlikely that Spurs will get champions league footy and with the shop window coming up at christmas, he'll want to advertise his talents so that Man United come back in for him. Guest Helston Patriot
Do you think they will now that Saha is fit and rooney?? And tevez has atually scored!
Coopsie
Ofcourse, Ferguson is quoted as saying that "Berbatov is a marvellous player that we tried to sign before Spurs got him and you never know what the future holds". Remember that Tevez is only on loan, Rooney needs a "foil" to get him scoring more goals and even though Saha is fit, how long will he be fit for?. Guest Helston Patriot
i never knew tevez was only on loan!!! If or when Utd do make a bid, will they over pay like they did or carrick or hargreaves & nani??
Coopsie
Well Berba is definately worth more than the £10.9million that we paid for him. I'd put him in the same sort of price bracket that Liverpool paid for Torres and I don't think that would be a stupid fee to pay for a 26 year old with Berbatov's ability. Tevez is on loan for 2 seasons and then there's an option to buy him if they want to. I still don't think that Carrick was hugely overpriced when he signed for Utd. Remember he was only 23 years old and when you look at how he performed for them at the weekend, he's going to be worth every penny. He comes good in the big games and his passing/vision for a pass is simply outstanding. He just needs to become more consistent and he'll be fine.
