skippy
In the next few weeks, the Combo will be down to 18 clubs - Illogan will be promoted to SWP - Peneen have already withdrawn Why not take this opportunity to make this the league size permanently. All that needs to happen is 1. At the AGM clubs vote on the league being 18 clubs 2. A one for one promotion / relegation with Trelawny league (maximum two) as per current rules
Pitty
Relegation won't happen Porthleven are bottom! If the clubs vote for 18 at the AGM it won't happen until May 2015 which is why it never passes as their is the possibility of 4 teams being relegated if 2 come up from the trelawny premier that season or 3 if a team goes SWPL in accordance with the league rules My prediction - Illogan will replace their senior team and Helston will come in to take it back up to 20.....Although have heard on Camborne Jungle Drums a team may do a "Pendeen" and ask to leave for 2014/
pointers
How can a club ask to leave pitty? Surly this will result in them having to start from div 5 Trelawny?? Sometimes I agree it is for the benefit of the club to take a step down however, your club seems to be doing good pitty??
Martin Eddy
irrespective of how many teams you have in the league you have to ensure promotion and relegation. what's the point otherwise
OldFan
All it is on this forum with the combo league is arguments and problems. The ECPL needs more match reports but at least you don't get continuous arguments and problems. The west of Cornwall need to sort it out
pointers
ECPL doesn't have any problems because it doesn't have any real footballlers?? Lack of understanding with the real issues and passions of players as fans.
