bournemouth boy Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 I'd just like to write and thank everyone who I've had the pleasure of playing with or under during my time spent in Cornwall over the last three years. On Tuesday I played my last game for Perranwell away at Mullion. Although the result didn't our way, it didn't take away a effort from the lads and Mullion were deserved winners. I enjoyed great much success with Falmouth Town Reserves two seasons ago winning the Combination league, League Cup and a runners up Evely trophy medal and would like to especially thank Paul Murray and Tony Paddock for giving me the opportunity at Falmouth town, Wendron United and Perranwell FC. Best of luck to all Cornish teams for the future; there's a lot potential talent in this part of the country, that if not for the geography could be getting a lot more national attention. All the best Ben Manley
MJP Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Good luck with everything you do in the future, you were an exceptional goalkeeper, and more importantly a good, and committed player and person. I know you will be a success in everything you do. Please keep in touch and say hello to Kevin, Joe and the rest of your family. The only thing that I can question your judgement in, is your choice of football team to support!!!
WendronOfficial Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Top bloke and one of the best keepers, if not the best keeper, I have seen and played with at the Underlane. I hope you have many happy memories of Wendron United FC, Cornish football, and Cornwall itself. Best of luck for the future! From all at a Wendron United FC
