Richard Chown Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 Trelawny Results Tues 29th April 2014
PenrynNo4 Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 Carharrack 0 - 2 Constantine rys Allen and Ben Allen with the goals
Richard Chown Posted April 29, 2014 Author Report Posted April 29, 2014 Trelawny Premier: Carharrack 0 Constantine 2 First half was pretty even, just before half time Constantine got a penalty but was duly saved by Mikey Palmer. Second half saw Carharrack have a goal disallowed for offside. Then with a clash of heads Reds captain went to ground, Constantine carried on playing, match official didn't blow up and the ball went into the back of the net. Great. With 10 minutes to go, Constantine took a shot at goal and the ball unfortunately fell out the keepers hands and over the line. Disappointing result but some good performances. Best of luck to Constantine for rest of the season. MOM: Mikey Palmer (GK) superb saves throughout.
Shifty Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 PREMIER Gwinear Churchtown 0-2 Mawnan. Solid 3 points for Mawnan against a decent Gwinear side. Cheers for the food after on an evening game.
Barry H Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 St Day Res. 2 - 3 Helston Res. St Day goals - O.G (Great shot from distance by Jacob Cleverly, cannoning off the bar and in off my shoulder) and a great volley from Gavin Perriton from the edge of the box. Helston goals - Shaun Parker from 25 yards, Mike Hallibone (questionable penalty) and Chris Reed with a powerful effort from just inside the box. Good end to end game on a tricky pitch. Probably the right result with Helston having the greater share of chances on goal, hitting the woodwork several times and Mark Leah in the St Day goal (nearly had him on a long free kick) being called into action on a few occasions. St Day tried their best to get behind the blues defence but getting caught offside far too often, they did hit the woodwork near the end with a looping header but the follow up was sliced wide. Well refereed by George Pattison.
Phil Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 Trelawney Prem. Threemilestone 2, St Buryan 0. Nick Boase and Ryan Stephens with the goals. att 16. Good game down at the park tonight. Tms dominated the early stages and took the lead when Boasey headed in from a corner. The stones continued to create chances through the half but were unable to convert any of them. 2nd half Buryan pushed on looking for an equaliser and put the stones under periods of pressure. Stephens and Pope continued to miss chances on the counter attack but with 5 minutes to go Stephens secured the win with the 2nd goal. Thought both teams played well tonight and Tms deserved their victory, but credit to Ian and Buryan for managing to get a side together to travel for probably the longest trip possible in the premier division!!! My man of the match tms's James Davies. The game well reff'd by kevin knowles.
St Darren Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 What's happening with tms and application for promotion Phil? I've heard a number of stories
Phil Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 What's happening with tms and application for promotion Phil? I've heard a number of stories As I'm no longer part of the club I can only comment unofficially. But what I heard was the application was sent to trelawney league sec as normal, but the combo application was sent to Brian Harris when it should of gone to Lester Thomas.
St Darren Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 So does that mean that it's not been accepted
