Congratulations to Nigel Hambly and Dave Coopers Holmans reserves side on reaching the Russell Hall cup final. A great effort by the players saw them through against a tough Goonhavern team who pressed for an equaliser all the way up to the 90th min but some commendable performances across the pitch saw the boys from blaythorne through to face either Marazion or Chacewater in the final

Went to watch the semi final last night. Good Desire to win shown by both sides and Holmans hung on well for the victory. Alot of pressure from Goonhavern in the last 20 minutes,who had a few youngsters that looked quite comfy on the ball

.Unfortunately Holmans physical presence was a little to much for them with some john smith style football. Hopefully we can beat Marazion on Thursday and meet them in the final.
