Good to see Torpoint back in action so soon after their cup victory. I know for a fact that all the lads will treat this with the same professionalism as Sunday. Come on boys!!

Fowey 5 - 0 Nanpean

Fowey failed to score in the 1st period with Rovers defending as a team showing desire and commitment. The home side however showed there quality in the 2nd period with several SWPL players on show.

Fowey are a good quality football side and we wish them all the best for the rest of the Season.

The School pitch was in good condition, although having to wait for 10 minutes in the car park before we were told where to get changed 1/2 a mile away and the fact the referee never gave us time to warm up or have a proper break at half time shows Sunday League set up with a Sunday League ref, who says " we have to kick off at 6.30 and only have a 5 minute break at half time because I only took an hour off work.

No dugouts, no refreshments.

We had 4 players turn up at 6.15 because we were pre pared for a 6.45 kick off

The only other down side from the Sunday morning ref was to book a home player for kicking our keeper in the head while on the floor, he then booked the keeper for going down and asking for a physio.

Roll on end of season - Good Result for Roche
