Lamerton had to really dig in and battle for this result with Torpoint moving the ball around very well playing some good football.

All the lamerton players deserve a lot of credit for this result which now moves them up to 3rd place.

Lamerton scored from a corner from Steve lake with a volley with about 6 mins left.

I can agree with Big Roy. We did play some nice football but struggled to make any real chances throughout the game. Lamerton defended well has Torpoint held a very large percentage of the games possession.

The goal was very disappointing to concede so late as we were rarely under any real pressure. Good luck to the Lamerton boys for the rest of the season.
