Nemesis Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 I see on Facebook, that Godolphin have got their lights installed and working. Congrats to Tania & all at GAFC, looking forward to seeing and using the stand when that is up and ready.
leedsunited Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Well done to godolphin..a club thats progressing fast, with your floodlights installed & good league campaign behind you, your near neighbours must be a tad envyous i would imagen! They need to close the gap. Congratulations tania
Taniachairmangodolphin Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Our new grandstand dug outs and hard standing areas right around the pitch will be all ready for the start of next season a massive thank you goes out to musco lighting and the lads that installed lights top people
secretscout Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Congratulations to all involved at Godolphin, it really is great to see clubs still progressing in light of the current financial climate. A very good side, with an average set up, has now moved on to a very good side with a better set up, just the stand and perhaps a clubhouse is all thats required. But still, great strides for the club, all the best for the rest of this, a very good season for you and all the best going forward! Well done!
Paul Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Excellent. Always good to see clubs improving facilities.
Guest johnperryman777 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Excellent work godolphin another forward thinkig club like us
Quiet Man Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Hats off to GAFC, they have gone about building the club up very quietly, not shouting their mouths off and to do it all in this financial climate is even more remarkable. Congratulations to you all.
Taniachairmangodolphin Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Thank you all for your messages it very much appreciated our grandstand and new dug outs will be up and ready for the start of next season we will not be getting a clubhouse on the ground we have always used Godolphin it's my mothers pub and she has invested in the club for over 25 years and carriers on doing so we feel it's important to give a little back

best Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 What a first class club! A big well done must go to the hard working committee and what a fantastic job Derek Martin has done! Manager of the year in my eyes How far will the club go? With the hard working committee and top class manager surely in 5 years time will be playing toolstation football. Well done!
Cornish Brazillian Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Just concurring with all of the above congratulations. It illustrates so well how much can be achieved through hard work and commitment. Looking forward to the next stage and the ongoing progress at the club...
Ian Pethick Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Well done to all at Godolphin . With so many grounds on the South West football having had none or very little work done or money spent on them for years , it is refreshing to see yourselves being in the group of clubs that are pushing forward . After witnessing first hand this season the team spirit and hard work that is evident on and off the field at Godolphin , and the pool of players and support that is available in the Newquay area , I can see The G being one of the leading clubs in years to come .
Billy Davies Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 A first class club with a hard working ethos from top to bottom. Many good people involved and no big ego's and always a great atmosphere in the pub after whatever the result. I always enjoyed our battles with Godolphin and it is great to see them progressing on and off the field whilst staying true to their roots. Well done to all and long may it continue. Bill.
100%cornish Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 The g have got to be the team of the y ear and Derek has got to be manager of the year the players all play as a team with heart passion and pride to wear the Godolphin shirt unlike the other team in the town which needs a major overhaul .I was so looking forward to going to watch the g play today vs Falmouth but my health isnt too good today after yesterday radiotherapy but i will be keeping a eye on the score on the forum im goinf for 4-1 to the g Phil Lowry with a hat trick .Good luck lads

Disagree with you on the Manager Of The Year though , I would go for Nicky Marker at Ivybridge Town .
