Elmore 1- 4 Ivybridge

The game started with Ivybridge dominating the first 10 mins, however, fair play to Elmore they got themselves settled and could/should have taken the lead, fortunately, poor finishing by the Elmore strikers kept the score line to 0 - 0.

Another Ivybridge attack lead to the opening goal of the game on, knocked in by Joe Truelove at the far post.

HT 0 - 1

The second half saw Elmore draw level after an Ivybridge attack was stopped by the Elmore defence, 4 passes later the ball was in the visitors goal, The Ivybridge management will not be best pleased with the way the goal was conceded, far to easy to break and score.

Fortunately, this woke up Ivybridge slumbering side and reagained the lead within 5 mins from a free kick on the left by T Hanrahan tbc, which the Elmore goalkeeper had the ball in his hands, but some how, let the ball slip out and into the back of the net. Ivybridge took the game by the scruff of the neck and added a further 2 quick goals to go 1 - 4 up, by P Bromhead tbc and Steve Sutton.

Not the best performance from Ivybridge, but, it's the 3 points that count.

St Blazey 0v0 Bodmin.

St Blazey should have won this. One chance missed when Tornado squared the ball a yard from the goal line and with an open goal our player swung and missed it. Hit is standing a leg and it was cleared. Tornado was on his game creating plenty of chances. Some really good results lately with many injuries and players away. A very strong end to the season.

Lets hope the Bodmin player who went off is ok.
