leedsunited Posted April 8, 2014 Author Report Posted April 8, 2014 You sure, 4 sendings off?! They still won the game even with 4 sendings off, what the hell went on there this evening? How can a team have 4 sent off & still win!
Denty01 Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 You sure, 4 sendings off?! They still won the game even with 4 sendings off, what the hell went on there this evening? How can a team have 4 sent off & still win! Maybe because one was sent off with five minutes to go and the other 3 with no more than 30 seconds remaining

leedsunited Posted April 9, 2014 Author Report Posted April 9, 2014 Thanks Denty01 knew you would be able to explain it. Sounded like it was agood game down there! Not so good if your a falmouth fan but sounds certainly very entertaining
Nick Pope Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 Missed it but followed on Twitter... Well done and thank you to Villa management and players for last nights efforts and result.
Henning Berg Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 Thought I would comment on last nights Bovey v Elburton game for two main reasons. Firstly I would congratulate everybody involved with the fixture last night. It was well refereed and backed up well by his assistants. Both sets of players put on a good show of football, both tried to pass it on what was a lovely looking surface and, to the 10 elburton players, a huge well done for the way they battled from the very first to last whistle. Pleasure to watch a team play with such passion and regard for their teammates going into a game with a massive hurdle already in the way. Secondly though, how is it that a team at this level cannot raise 11 players to start a game? For a club like Elburton, who has a fantastic set up and clearly a thoroughly well run club from grassroots, something must have gone wrong for them not to put 11 names on the sheet.
pastyman Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 Can anyone shed any light on why Elburton Villa only fielded 10 players last evening? I agree with Henning Berg, Elburton Villa run a great little club and there are some very enthusiastic people behind the scenes. The club seems to be improving the facilities every season.
SHOOTER Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 I believe things ain't all that rosey at elburton from what I heard, and I believe they have a fee injuries but can't see y they couldn't grab someone from the reserves?.
predator Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 Money has been sliced , players leaving at the start of the season, has sent them bottom half of the table again . Elburton hasent got what it takes to stay up the top
Nick Pope Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 I believe there are number of valid reasons as to why only 10 players travelled Tuesday but personally wish concentrate on congratulating all that did. Due to player's in/out we have been leaning on our reserves and u18's throughout the season so for me there's nothing new there. Facilities are improving, no money has been 'sliced' and we now look to see if more points can be picked up to finish as high as possible! As I've previously posted, we've had up's & down's but what club doesn't?
