This result didn't really help either promotion chasing Phoenix or Boscastle, whose relegation fears weren't really allayed by the one point they earned today.

Rob Hicks and Ryan Cox grabbed the Phoenix goals but the alumni team were lucky to take anything from this game, where too many players were sluggish and off colour. Well done to Boscastle though; they came with the right attitude and deserved something from the game, especially based on their first half performance.

The White Hart Man of the Match Award: Joe Davis; one of the few Phoenix players to rise to the challenge, allowing Phoenix a way back into the game.

St Minver 7-0 Holywell

Poor Holywell came to Trewint with a bare ten but still battled throughout.

An early Ben Beesley free kick and a Steve Wooton brace set the ball rolling. Minver going in 4 up at half time after a Northcott solo effort.

Holywell kept us at bay right up until the 75th minute until Wooton, Pooley and a Corey Cleave penalty ended proceedings.

Sticker 0-2 AFC Bodmin

Bodmin put their recent poor run of form behind them with a good win on an excellent surface at sticker. A goal in either half by Matt Hooper sealed the 3 points. Good luck to Sticker for the remainder of their season.

Veryan 5 : 0 pensilva res

On a foogy day at veryan it took veryan unitll midway through the first half to break the deadlock with pensilva defending well! The first goal came from a bobbylee johns run in to cope to put ollie young in to finish well! Not long after the restart veryan regainied possesion an played through from the back up to kai pearce who had some great touches to beat a few of the pensilva back line and to sqaure the ball for bobbyleejohns to finish well!! Half time the score was 2:0 after the break the home side upped there game with some good play and pensilva defending well again took a while to break through before a justin trebilcock cross was converted by liam cope. Pensilva pushed on an played some good stuff with central midfeilder no.5 not sure his name playing some good stuff! Veryan made a few changes an pushed harder for another goal good play from veryans defence got the ball moving well into the midfeild an put kai pearce in! Who got pulled down for a penalty!!! An bobbyleejohns converted!! With 15mins to go the pens didnt give up an had a good attack which ended with veryans keeper making a good save! From that veryan broke down the right with martyn o'calllghan to put a deep cross in which kai pearces headed back in to bobbyleejohns to smash home in the top corner completing his hattrick earning him A man of the match performance! Overall a good performance from the home side!! And a gutsy performance from pensilva reserves which were all good lads!! Good luck for the rest of the season!!

Yeah we found the pitch OK remembered it from last year.

To be fair was a decent game although we needed a little bit more once we got to 1-1 though we thought we had um. Their first goal was a worldie volley!
